I’m Iona. I’m a Scottish UI/UX designer based in Melbourne with 9+ years experience. My passion is creating intuitive accessible products whilst having usability at the forefront.

 

I was previously working at HotDoc as the sole UI designer, leading the UI design across all our products and platforms. Collaborating with fellow designers, the CX team, clients, and developers to create ideal products.

 

I have experience in establishing and working with design systems, prototyping, user-testing, and animation however I have a deep interest in interaction design.

 

I am also deeply passionate about psychology, which frequently influences my design work.

 

When I'm not designing, I enjoy immersing myself in self-help, health & science podcasts, checking out local art exhibitions, hiking, exploring areas outside of Melbourne, and embarking on exciting travel adventures (most recently South America).
